Make the most of browser games

Browser games should be quick to start. A few small checks can make them more comfortable to play.

Before you begin

• Use an up-to-date browser with hardware acceleration enabled for 3D games.
• Close demanding tabs if movement or sound starts to stutter.
• On a phone, rotate the screen when a game recommends landscape play.

Controls and sound

Each game page lists its controls below the play area. Games can use the keyboard, mouse, or touch. If sound does not start immediately, tap or click the play area once; browsers often wait for an interaction before playing audio.

Take a break

If a game supports pause, use it before switching tabs. You can always return to the catalog to find another game.
